Love
Venus in Leo wants to be seen wanting, and wanted back, without a joke to cover it. Anonymous affection does not register. You can love a quiet life. You cannot love a life in which the person who matters treats you as a fact in the furniture. Warmth that is proud of itself draws you: a room, a voice, a piece of work that takes up space on purpose.
You show love by making the other person visible. A specific compliment, a seat that faces the room, a defense of them when they are not there. You receive love when that comes back without a negotiation. A partner who is devoted in private and vague in public will feel, to you, like a person who is ashamed. They may only be shy. The difference has to be said, or you will perform harder to drag a witness out of them.
The shadow is the performance that replaces the want. You host, you shine, you arrange the evening, and nobody has actually chosen you. They have attended. Attendance is not regard. One person who is glad it is you, in front of whoever is there and again when nobody is, is the whole requirement. It is smaller than a stage and harder to fake.
Let one evening be ordinary and still be chosen. Venus in Leo reaches for the occasion because an unmarked day feels like being forgotten. A person who is glad on a Tuesday, with no audience and no performance, is the regard you were buying the room to get. If they only arrive when the lights are on, you are hosting. Hosting is not the same thing as being loved.
