How it works

A chart needs a date, a time, and a city. The time is skipped only when you do not know it, and then the rising is not invented.
Casting a chart
1. What you enter
The birth date, the birth time if you know it, and the city. The city sets the time zone. The clock of the computer you are using does not.
2. The method
The zodiac is tropical. Houses are whole sign, and only when a birth time was entered. Planet positions are calculated for that moment with astronomy-engine (github.com/cosinekitty/astronomy). They are not copied from a published horoscope.
Another site may use Placidus, Koch, or a sidereal zodiac. Those charts will not match this one house for house. That is a different method, not a correction of this page.
3. Sample and your chart
Before a chart is saved, a sample is on the page so the tool can be seen. The sample is not your chart. Casting replaces it.
4. What a plan opens
A paid plan opens the written chart, the six days after today, the journal after six entries, and the tarot draws. A pack does not open those. It only adds kept credits. A reading is 6 credits. A synastry report is 12.
